  1. Ice Cube was the only member of the NWA band not to have been born in Compton. He was also the youngest member of the band when the band formed, just 17 years old.
  2. He was converted to Islam in the early 1990s. However, he rarely went to the mosque, believing that everything was between him and his god and he could reach him from the confines of his home.
  3. He got his nickname, Ice Cube from his older brother, who thought he was too cool for his age, as Cube regularly called his brother’s girlfriends when they called their house phone.
  4. He has his own clothing line called Solo by Cube. The hooded sweatshirts that have speakers built into hood strings are particularly famous.
  5. After his falling out with Priority Records, he formed his own record label, Lench Mob Records , out of animosity towards his former record label.
  6. He has also started his own production company, Cube Vision , which has produced his many hits Barber and Beauty Salon , among others .
