Former President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that he exited office with the same physical possessions he had before becoming Nigeria’s leader, reaffirming his legacy of transparency and integrity.
Speaking from his Kaduna home during a visit by governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Buhari urged today’s leaders to put the people first and reject the temptation of personal enrichment.
“Leadership is both a challenge and an opportunity. It is important to focus on the needs of the people and not personal welfare. I left office with the same physical assets I had before my presidency,” he said.
