Human remains have been recovered from the wreckage of the Titan sub, which imploded during a dive into the Titanic wreck, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. The US Coast Guard has announced that medical professionals will carefully analyze the presumed human remains.
The deceased include British explorer Hamish Harding, French submarine expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, Pakistani-British tycoon Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, and Stockton Rush, CEO of the sub’s operator, OceanGate Expeditions. The Titan submersible imploded under the immense pressure of the North Atlantic at a depth of over two miles.
