How does Facebook help us stay healthy?

Some people consider Facebook as the source of just making friends, you may think that it will greatly affect our health and make it worse. So there are different views from different people. You may be right, but I think Facebook has some other good qualities as well. There are many stories about Facebook that allowed a mother to reunite with her family after 34 years. Another story is that a Singaporean woman found her brother through Facebook and a TV show. So those are some good things about Facebook.

So what do you think – could Facebook help us achieve good health conditions? Let’s see how it can help us maintain or improve our health –

  1. See friends’ pictures – We always post our latest picture on Facebook and the same goes for friends. We always want to look good and sometimes post a picture of food. We posted a photo when we went to a royal place or a restaurant and ate there. Sometimes our friend might have posted the same type of photos that want to show his friends that he eats a healthy and balanced diet. If you see this picture you can have a positive impact on us and we may follow him from the same day or moment we saw him.
  2. Training Buddies – We always love making new friends on Facebook. It can be a stranger to us or an old friend we last met in our school days. It can be anyone. So different people are in different jobs. Some may have become coaches or health professionals. Such friends can really help us get fit. We can follow their expert opinions and recommendations, which can also act as motivation.
  3. Fitness Achievements – You wake up early in the morning and went to the gym and did some exercises and posted the picture on Facebook. So what do you think your friends’ reaction might be? Obviously they expect praise from you. This can make you feel great, like someone rubbed your back and said, well done.
  4. Washboard abs – Facebook is always focused on how you look. People post their pictures in which they look their best. Men have been shown to try to impress the girls by attaching their muscles and abs. So, such a picture can serve as a motivation for her male friends.
  5. Motivation – You can take the example of a boy who was Kawasaki disease found the right way to cure it from Facebook itself. In the same way, you can also like the health and healthy celebrity pages (if you feel like it and haven’t liked it yet) so that you can always stay up to date with the relevant information and serve as motivation.
