George Georgallidis , otherwise known as, HotshotGG , is a gamer. He is the founder and president of the professional gaming organization “Counter Logic Gaming”. In an interview with Forbes on July 4, 2012, he discussed how Koreans evolved into eSports and saw the impact of League of Legends on them?
He rose to fame in the eSports world after becoming a pro-gamer with his team ‘Counter Logic Gaming’. Moreover, his team is also popular for playing games like League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Halo, and Super Smash Bros. However, upon reaching the top, on May 26, 2013, he resigned his Top Laner status for CLG and was replaced by Nientonsoh.

The talented player was born on June 23, 1990 in London, Ontario, Canada. He was born to Greek parents, whose identity is not available in the media. He also did not reveal any information about his siblings.
After graduating from high school, he joined the RCC Institute of Technology to pursue a computer network engineer. However, having a passion for games, to become a professional player in Legend of Leagues, he dropped out of college. Plus, he was very young in games like Halo and Defense of Ancients.

In April 2010, he founded Counter Logic Gaming, a competitive professional gaming team for League of Legends and others. Initially, the team consists of members HotshotGG, Lociero, Grandjudge, Chauster, Nolja, Clever, Sabertiger, Bigfatjiji, Lilballz, and Kobe24. However, some members left the group and when the group became official, it has members HotshotGG, Kobe24, bigfatjiji, Chauster, and Elementz.
In 2010, his team, CLG collected some records like the first in World Cyber Games 2010 in Grand Finals worth $250,000. After that, in 2011, the team with Epik Gamer and Team SoloMid attended the Riot Season 1 Championship in Sweden.
In 2013, after performing unsatisfactorily in the LCS summer season, he left the top lane. After taking up his position at Ninetonsohand, he began to take on a leadership role for the team. In 2014, he returned as a temporary mid-laner in the 2014 NA LCS Spring Split which featured a Week 1 midweek matchup.
