Hope PSB appoints Ogechi Chinwe Altraide as Managing Director

The appointment of Mrs. Ogechi Chinwe Altraide as managing director and the chief executive officer has been made public by the board of directors of Hope Payment Service Bank Ltd.

The appointment is pending the Central Bank of Nigeria’s approval. With 2.5 decades of uninterrupted experience in the Nigerian banking sector, Mrs. Altraide joins Hope PSB. She will give the bank’s board and management insightful information.

Alhaji Shehu Abubakar, the head of Hope PSB’s Board of Directors, claims that one of the initiatives the bank has done to establish itself as a leading provider of payment services in Nigeria is appointing Mrs. Altraide.

Ogechi has over 25 years of experience in banking and has held positions in a number of major financial institutions, including Ecobank, Diamond Bank, and United Bank for Africa (UBA), where she most recently served as Deputy General Manager.

She’s held a variety of positions, including group heads for personal banking, retail banking, direct sales, head sales, regional managers, and branch managers.

Agent Banking, International Remittances, SME, Customer Acquisition, and Retail Growth are just a few of the portfolios she has managed. In Tanzania, she served as a Non-Executive Director for UBA.

She graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a B.Sc. in Management and an MBA in Banking and Finance. Ogechi is a subject matter expert in retail sales and campaigns as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
