Biography and Lifestyle of Hichem Rostom

Hichem Rostom (Arabic : هشام رستم ‎), born May 26, 1947 in La Marsa, is a Tunisian actor of Turkish origin. He has art in his blood and loved the theater since his childhood. Her grandfather, the headmaster of the Sadakiyya school, took her to watch plays.

Hichem Rostom was discovered by the great Tunisian artist Ali Ben Ayyad.

After his baccalaureate, Hichem Rostom traveled to France and lived there from 1967 to 1994, where he obtained his doctorate in literature and his doctorate in theater history. He has also worked in French theater, cinema and television in French (nearly 70 plays and 10 films and series).

Hichem Rostom has acted in various Tunisian films and series. He notably held the leading role in the film Essaïda and he is known for the role of Cherif in the series of Ramadan Awled Moufida.

Hichem Rostom’s artistic career has exceeded fifty years. He participated in more than 32 films, 26 series and 80 plays (his works were Tunisian, English, French, Italian and German).
