Actor Héctor Suárez died on June 2, 2020, at the age of 81, as a result of cancer, according to his son, Héctor Suárez Gomís. “With deep sorrow, we want to share with you the death of Héctor Suárez Hernández. We ask you to please understand this moment of great sadness that we are experiencing and we also hope that you can respect our mourning.”

Born in Mexico City on October 21, 1938, Héctor Suárez became a theater figure in his country. He made his film debut in 1964, with El asalto , followed by other great national successes, such as Despedida de soltera or La marcha de Zacatecas .

He also took part in El ángel  and El golfo , by Vicente Escrivá , at the service of the popular Spanish singer Raphael . In Mexico she became a great celebrity after presenting the program “What happens to us?”, on Televisa. Since the early 1960s, he has worked in soap operas such as  El derecho de nacer, El carruaje, Las gemelas, El dolor de vivir and Madres egoístas.
