Heather Cox is a popular American sports journalist and sideline reporter. Currently, she also works as a sideline reporter for NFL Network and NBC. Additionally, she also broadcast post-season games on NBC and the Golf Channel as reporter Kelly Tilghman and Molly McGrath .

The journalist was born as Heather Schoeny on June 3, 1970 in Jonesville, North Carolina, United States. She was born as the daughter of mother Alyson Schoeny and her father’s identity is not revealed in the media. She has a brother but she has not shared any information about him. The team placed in the top five nationally and in 1990, reached the last four and became national runner-up. So far, she has worked with networks like ESPN and ABC, reporting on NBA, college football, NCAA basketball and professional volleyball games. She also worked as an analyst for ESPN’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Championships and the BAsketball Championship.

Sportscaster, Cox married her college friend Bill Cox. The duo first met in college at the University of the Pacific, where they graduated with a degree in communications.
