Japanese film, television and stage actor Haruma Miura, known for playing Eren Jaegar in the fantasy film “Attack on Titan”, passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 30. His lifeless body was found at his residence in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on Saturday. The police are considering suicide as the most probable cause of death.

Born on April 5, 1990, in Tsuchiura, Tokyo, in 1990 and began his television career in various Japanese-language series, such as Ima ai ni yukimasu and Unfair . He was also a member of the musical group Brash Brats, which achieved enormous success. On stage he played a drag queen in the Japanese adaptation of “Kinky Boots”, a famous Broadway musical.

Above all, he stood out as one of the heroes of Attack on Titan , an adaptation of the homonymous anime that was released in two parts. In recent months, Haruma Miura had been filming the action film Brave: Gunjyo Sennki  and the thriller Ghost Hunt .
