Harry Kane paid special attention to strengthening his lower body at the gym. He’s worked extensively on his hamstrings and glutes to make his runs more powerful and ensure he’s off the mark faster. He does a lot of one-leg glute work at the gym. He has also been working on his core strength as he believes it is the key to stability and strength.
To make sure he fuels his muscles and body properly, he has a personal chef who prepares his food 6 days a week. Instead of eating healthy all week and eating carbs just before the game, he changes his diet by eating high and low carbs throughout the week. - He began his football journey by playing for local side Ridgeway Rovers.
- At the age of 8 he joined the youth development team at Arsenal FC. However, he left the club after a year. Legendary former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed he was disappointed with his club’s decision to release Kane in the past.
- In his early days with Tottenham Hotspur as a youth he played as a holding midfielder. He was then transferred to attacking midfield. He also played briefly as a defender.
- On the eve of his 16th birthday, he signed a scholarship deal with Spurs. Around a year later, in July 2010, he signed his first professional contract with the club.
- Although only on loan for half a season from Tottenham for Millwall, he still managed to win Millwall’s Young Player of the Year at the end of the season.
- Kane scored his first hat-trick for Tottenham in their 5-1 win over Asteras Tripoli in a UEFA group stage game.
