Gunna is an American rapper and songwriter best known for his debut mixtape Hard Body which he released on June 16, 2013 under the name Yung Gunna, as well as the single Floyd Mayweather from Young Thugs mixtape Jeffery released on June 26. August 2016 with Gucci Mane and Travis Scott. After initial success and friendship, Gunna was signed to the Young Thug label by YSL Records and released mixtapes Tropfzeit on October 14, 2016, Tropf Season 2 on May 11, 2017 and Tropf Season 3 on February 2, 2018.

On October 5, 2018, Gunna was working on a well-received mixtape with Drip Harder With Lil Baby, which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and was that week’s most-streamed album. Gunna and Lil Baby also released a single Drain Too Strong on September 12, 2018, which quickly achieved double “platinum” status in both the US and Canada. On February 22, 2019, Gunna released his debut studio album entitled Fallen Lassen oder drowned 2 under the YSL and 300 labels , which peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

  2. He met Young Thug through a mutual friend, King Troup, a community figure who passed away in December 2015.
  3. Gunna collaborated with rapper Hoodrich Pablo Juan on a song F*ck N*gga in 2016 along with Neechie, Lil Chi Chi and Lil Duke and 3 singles in 2017 – Back and forth , Mind On a Milli , and Almighty as well a song Chanel Swagg in collaboration with Shad da God and Lil Duke .
