Unknown gunmen have abducted three people in Osu town, along Ife/Ilesha expressway in Osun State.

It was gathered that one of the abducted passengers is said to be a brother of Seriki Hausa of Iyere town, while the other two victims identity is not ascertained yet.

The victims were said to have been taken to a forest in Osu after their vehicle was intercepted by the gunmen.

However, the combined effort of the team of police and the members of the hunter’s group of Nigeria, in Osun state, towards the release of the abducted has not yielded any positive results

It was reported that the Seriki Hausa of Iyere Community, Haruna Tanko, confirmed the abduction of his brother, saying he did not know the other two victims.

“It is true that my brother, Usman was abducted by gunmen. They demanded ransom, but we have not been able to raise the money.

The spokesperson for Osun Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident, saying the incident was reported to the command on Friday.

According to her, The matter was reported to the Osu command, said to be one Tanko Haruna, The Seriki of Hausa community Iyere town, that someone called him on the phone, that his brother and other unidentified two persons were kidnapped by the unknown Gunmen.
