Born on May 7, 1970 in Colombia, Fernando José Gregorio Pernía Maldonado is a renowned actor who has been part of numerous audiovisual projects. His first steps in the industry were in the theater, where he worked for a couple of years. His jump to television came, first, as an extra for the series ‘My only truth’. It was not until 1998 that he debuted in the telenovela ‘La madre’, a role that earned him awards such as the Simón Bolívar, Shock, TV y Novelas and the Gran Águila de Venezuela.

Since then, Gregorio Pernía has not stopped acting, forming part of the cast of productions such as ‘La hija del mariachi’, ‘Without breasts there is no paradise’, ‘Brave heart’, ‘Decisions: Some win, others lose’, ‘ The end of paradise’, among many others. But, that has not been all, the actor has also served as a contestant on reality television shows such as ‘Challenge 2013: Africa, the origin’, ‘MasterChef Celebrity’, ‘Así se baila’, where he was the winner, and ‘Top Chef VIP ‘.

Likewise, the artist also made the leap into the world of politics , being the candidate for the 2010 Colombian legislative elections for the Colombian Senate for the Radical Change Party. A vote where he did not do well, but that did not prevent him from running again four years later for the 2014 elections with number 34 for the Green Alliance (Colombia).

On a personal level, Gregorio Pernía is shown to be a faithful follower of social networks. In fact, he has almost 7 million followers on his Instagram account, a platform where he also shares his closest and most intimate face. In addition, he has shown that, apart from acting, he is a great fan of sports, traveling and cooking.

On the other hand,  in the field of love, the actor had a stable relationship for a couple of years with the Colombian-Mexican actress Tania Robledo . A relationship that ended on good terms and that led him to meet the actress Andrea Guzmán , with whom he also had a relationship. But, one of his great loves did not come until he was part of the cast of the movie “Three Women”, the actress Marcela Mar. They both had a crush at first sight and a common child, Emiliano.

However, after years of relationship the couple decided to go their separate ways. Likewise, he recognized Diego Pernia in 2019, a common child with a domestic service woman who worked in the actor’s teenage house. Currently, Gregorio Pernía lives with the model Erika Rodríguez , with whom he had two children (Luna del Mar) aged 15 and (Valentino) aged 9. But he also had his 14-year-old son Julián with a Colombian woman.
