Born on August 13, 1988 in Antalya, Turkey, Gözde Kaya was always clear that she wanted to focus her working life on the world of acting. She graduated from the Department of United Arts at Yildiz Technical University and later from the Department of Musical Theater at Istanbul University. As the artist herself has revealed, she began her career thanks to the photographer Nihat Odabaşı, whom she met in a restaurant in Izmir.
Her great debut as a professional actress came in 2011 , when she participated in the series ‘Kalbimin Seni Seçti’, in which she played the character of İpek. After that, she joined the cast of numerous fictions on the small screen, including ‘Uçurum’, ‘Benim Hala Umudum Var’, ‘Gölgedekiler’ and ‘Sil Baştan’. However, her real leap internationally came from her character Çağla in ‘With the smell of strawberries’.
