The actress was born on November 27, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of her father, Mahmoud Gharachedaghi, an architect who runs architectural firms. While her mother runs the textile and garment industry. Her family moved to Los Angeles in 1975. She has an older sister, Leila Gharachedaghi, a businesswoman who has been involved in several business ventures including real estate, fashion, and beauty.
