Giles Deacon (born 1969) is a British fashion designer, creative director, entrepreneur and founder of Darlington. He is best known as the founder of the Giles Deacon group, Couture Fashion House.
Previously, the designer used to work with “Bottega Veneta” (luxury fashion brand). He was also an employee of Gucci for several years. Also, in 2003, he launched his own label titled GILES .
The designer later presented his first collection at London Fashion Week in 2004. In fact, he also won “Best New Designer” at the British Fashion Awards of the same year. His talent even earned him British Fashion Designer of the Year in 2006.
In 2009, Deacon also awarded the ANDAM French Fashion Grand Prix. As the creative director, he was appointed by the French fashion house called “Ungaro” in April 2010.
