The actress was born on March 30, 1997 in Los Angeles, California, United States of America. She was born as the eldest daughter of actress Pamela Adlon and director Felix O. Adlon. Additionally, she holds both American and German citizenship through her father and is descended from German hotelier Loren Adlon. She has younger sisters: Odessa and Valentine Rocky.
Additionally, she is the granddaughter of Percy Adlon, a German filmmaker, and Don Segall, her American maternal grandfather who worked as a screenwriter-producer. Regarding her training, she studied photography at Columbia College in Chicago for a year. She then decided to become a full-time actress and debuted in a 2011 episode of the FX series Louie with her mother Pamela.
