Gerald Green is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for a renowned NBA team Houston Rockets as a shooting guard and small forward. The player previously played for many established professional teams like the Los Angeles D-Fenders , New Jersey Nets , and more.

Gerald Green was born on the 26th of January 1986 in Houston, Texas, United States of America ^. He is the son of Brenda Green (mother) and Gerald Green (father). He has three siblings one brother Garlon Green and two sisters Green Delonya and Terika Green .

Unfortunately, Delonya Green faced a fatal accident when she was in the sixth grade. The accident left a significant portion of his right ring finger severed.

When Gerald attempted a dunk, he was wearing a ring on his right ring finger. His finger was torn off after the ring caught on a nail in the goal. Amputation was the only option he was left with after that.

Green attended J. Frank Dobie High School. He later enrolled in Leader’s Academy High School for business and academic success.
