George Wassouf ( Arabic : جورج وسوف) is a Syrian singer born on December 23, 1961 (age: 60) in Kafroun , Syria .
George is nicknamed “Sultan Atarab” thanks to his song “El Hawa Sultan”, he began his career at the age of 6 in wedding parties where he sang classic songs of Oum Kaltoum and Warda.
George has released more than 30 albums, he is known all over the Arab world and abroad, he specializes in his voice.
Sultan Tarab is one of the best Arab singers.
George is a Syrian singer who grew up in a Christian family, he holds a Syrian passport and a Lebanese passport.
George is settled in Lebanon, he is the discovery of George Yazbeck at the age of 12 years.
He rose to fame on the Lebanese TV show ” Studio El Fan” in 1980 at the age of 19 as ” Sultan of Tarab. ” »
