Gabby Douglas has a very strenuous and intense on-site training to prepare her for gymnastics events. She usually has 2 workouts a day. Her morning session lasts approximately 4 hours and is usually focused on practicing her gymnastics skills and movements. She works on vaults, beams and staffs. When she has a new routine in mind, she usually practices it during her morning session.
Your 2nd session is usually scheduled for midday and afternoon, starting at 2pm. This session lasts approximately 2 hours and the focus is on improving your condition. She usually relies on bodyweight exercises like push-ups, leg raises, squats, squat jumps, and sit-ups. She also goes through a series of stretches for the back, shoulders and legs.
Gabby fuels her grueling exercise regime by following a healthy and disciplined diet plan. Her diet plan on training days is as follows:
