Fully-Automated Garri Processing Factory Launched in China (video)

China has set up a factory that is able to mass-produce Garri which has been displayed in a video that is generating a lot of buzz on social media.

In the video shared by Ameyaw Debrah on his verified Twitter handle, a Chinese lady was seen showing how the factory operates and what function each machine has.

Garri is an indigenous food in Ghana and Nigeria that is usually manufactured locally from cassava and serves as a source of livelihood to many.

The Video however generated several forms of reactions from Nigerian tweeps.

The tweep with the handle @Adeleke_lory said: When you read the book titled “WHO WILL FEED CHINA” you will understand why they are serious with production and especially their lives. We are just not serious headed by belly-full politicians. Very soon we will curse ourselves. The Chinese are learning we are here fooling.

The User with the handle @JcurtisDyson said: Why are people seeing this as a challenge? Obviously they will sell the machines and u can produce ur gari in west Africa with the help of their machines. They have 1.4bn people to feed. They can’t rely on hand and some fry pan.
