Freddie Stroma (birth name: Frederic Wilhelm CJ Sjöström) is a British actor and model. He is known for his role as Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter film series and as Luke in the musical comedy film A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song (2011).

Stroma began his acting education when he joined the National Youth Theater of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the age of 16. He got several roles in British TV shows like Casualty and Mayo (aka The Gil Mayo Mysteries), a BBC crime show. .

He went to University College London where he studied Neuroscience at the Faculty of Brain Sciences. This was happening at the same time while he was still working, so he took a year off from his studies to prepare and play the role of Cormac McLaggen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

After filming Harry Potter, he moved on to bacl and in 2009 graduated with a 2:1 Bachelor of Science (BSc) (a second-class degree) in Neuroscience.

After college, Freddie also appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Parts 1 and 2. and later in the detective film 4.3.2.1. like Cool Brett.
