Fred West (Frederick Walter, Stephen West) was an English serial killer who committed at least 12 murders between (1967 and 1987 in Gloucestershire, the preponderance with Rosemary West (his second wife).

All the victims were young women. At least eight of these murders involved sexual gratification of the Wests and involved rape, slavery, torture, and mutilation; the dissected bodies of the victims were usually buried in the cellar or garden of Wests’ Cromwell Street house in Gloucester, known as the “House of Horrors”.
