1. His parents were Italian immigrants who later returned to Rome when he was 3 years old. Then, when he was about 13 years old, his family moved back to Venezuela.
2. Franco De Vita grew up in Rome and learned Italian before learning Spanish, which he only learned after his family returned to Venezuela from Italy.
