Frances Robathan (born 1960) is a British corporate adviser from London, UK. She has worked for the Fairtrade Foundation, London since 2002. She has held different positions including Director of Institutional Fundraising, Program Partnerships and Senior Advisor to Partnerships.
Also, she is the wife of George Alagiah (British broadcaster, TV news presenter and journalist). Alagiah is the main presenter of BBC World News GMT since its launch on February 1, 2010. She has presented BBC News at Six programs since December 3, 2007.
The BBC news presenter became the first British television celebrity to be diagnosed with coronavirus. He suffered from a minor illness. In addition, he spoke about his positive coronavirus report to his colleague Sophie Raworth.
