Former Ebonyi State governor’s hotel sealed by NDLEA
The former Governor of Ebonyi State hotel has been sealed by the anti-drug Agency (NDLEA).
The hotel of former Governor of Ebonyi State and Senator Representing Ebonyi North Senatorial zone, Dr Sam Egwu, Grace Court Hotel and Suite, Abakalilki has been sealed.
The hotel was sealed on Monday morning by NDLEA(Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency) over allegations that the hotel permits illicit drug peddlers and consumer.
It has been earlier reported that NDLEA, arrests some suspects seen with a large number of hard drugs In the hotel on Sunday, which leads to the sealing of the hotel on Monday.

However, The Deputy Commandant in charge of Operations and Intelligence of the Agency, Ibrahim Bashiru led the operation.
Hence, Bashiru said that an official statement will be released in due course by the agency, as he was not in the position to speak to journalists on the matter.
One of the operatives who were part of the operation was seen carrying many mobile phones suspected to be owned by those arrested.
