Obviously, ‘Essence’ is one of the tracks of ‘Made In Lagos’, Wizkid’s last studio album released in October last year. The 14-track project features global heavyweights like Damian Marley, Skepta, H.E.R, and Ella Mai alongside Burna Boy.
Making the cut with ‘Essence’, Wizkid becomes the first Nigerian hitmaker to score a Billboard Hot 100 entry.
In addition, ‘Essence’ becomes the first Nigerian song to make the entry while marking Wizkid’s third appearance on the charts, after Drake’s ‘One Dance’ hit number 1 in 2016.
However, in reacting to the latest achievement of the duo, netizens and proud Wizkid FC are taking to social media to celebrate the achievement.
Be like Tems, follow who know road

If you like pack all US A-list artistes on your album, you will need to revive the great late Fela and Michael Jackson before you can ever achieve what Wizkid did with Tems on Essence.

Tems went from New Artiste to Biggest Female Artiste in Africa with that Essence Feature, none of Her Counterparts can chart to her this Year. From "Try Me" to having the Song of the Summer in the US, all it took was making Magic with Big Wiz.
