Flume is an Australian DJ, record producer and musician, best known for his self-titled debut album Flume , released 9 November 2012. In 2013 it topped the albums chart in Australia and later went national with sales of more than 140,000 copies awarded “Platinum”. After the album’s release, Flume was seen as a trendsetter and was credited with pioneering and promoting the ‘future bass’ genre. His tracks used modulated synthesizer bass sounds close to the style of Mura Masa, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Wave Race and other mid-2010s artists. He also released an EP album before the studio album took off – Sleepless(2011) and a second after the release of the album – Lockjaw (2013).

Flume’s second studio album, titled Haut , released March 27, 2016, reached #1 on the ARIE Albums Chart and Flume received a 2017 Grammy Award for “Best Dance/Electronic Album”. Never Be Like You was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording that same year. After the album release, he released his third EP album – Skin Companion EP 1 on November 25, 2016 and 4th EP, titled Skin Companion EP 2 on February 17, 2017 on November 25, 2016.
