BIOGRAPHY OF FAYE MARSAY
Faye Marsay is an English actress from Middlesbrough, England. She rose to fame after her role as Anne Neville in The White Queen.
She is also known for the roles Amy in Need for Speed, recurring character Candice in Fresh Meat, Steph in the movie Pride, Blue Colson in the Black Mirror episode “Hated in the Nation”, and also the Waif in Fifth and sixth season of Game of Thrones.
Marsay has appeared as Sissy Jupe in Hard Times, First Wyrd Sister and Fleance in Macbeth, Runt in Disco Pigs and Shen Te in The Good Soul of Szechuan. Marsay played the role of Izzie in the radio drama The Price of Oil on BBC Radio 4. She appears in the episode ‘No Two Days’. She also appeared as Amy in the video game Need for Speed, sporting an American accent.

CAREER OF FAYE MARSAY
Marsay played a new, “fresher” Candice Pelling on the TV series Fresh Meat. She starred as Lizzie Lancaster in the second series of The Bletchley Circle in 2014. Marsay also had two projects debuted in September, the first being the BAFTA nominated film Pride, she played the character of Steph.
She also appeared in the television murder mystery miniseries Glue and played the character, Janine Riley. Faye was cast as the new character Katie Springer in the TV series My Mad Fat Diary for the final season. She was named one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow in 2015, which featured emerging creative professionals in early October.
Marsay played the lead role of Nina Stibbe in BBC’s Love, Nina in May and June 2016. She then appeared in a revival of Jim Cartwright’s play Road at the Royal Court Theatre. She starred in the ITV drama Bancroft alongside Sarah Parish in December 2017. The same year she appeared in the Channel 4 drama Shamed.
Faye appeared in BBC/AMC’s McMafia, starring James Norton in 2018. Marsay appeared in A Private War alongside Rosamund Pike, Stanley Tucci and Jamie Dornan in November of the same year.

After graduating, Marsay landed the lead role in The White Queen playing Anne Neville. The historical period drama TV mini-series developed for BBC One. Lady Anne Neville is the “kingmaker’s daughter” and queen consort of Richard III. Marsay stars alongside Juliet Aubrey, Veerle Baetens, Aneurin Barnard, Emily Berrington, Leo Bill, Arthur Darvill, Shaun Dooley and Rebecca Ferguson
BLACK FAYE MARSAY MIRROR
In 2016, Marsay appeared in “Hated in the Nation,” an episode of the anthology series Black Mirror. She played the role of Blue Colson alongside Kelly Macdonald. Marsay is created by Charlie Brooker, with Brooker and Annabel Jones serving as the program’s showrunners.
