In her words “If a woman wants to wish herself Happy Father’s Day please allow her breeeef you’re not in the relationship You don’t know or understand the sacrifices she has made. Happy Father’s Day Sophia, Tonto and everyone else “.
Her post resulted from netizens who oppose women wanting to be fathers and mothers just because they take up responsibilities a father should. comments like “It doesn’t sit right with me” “If you’re not a man you can never be a father” and “Stop normalizing nonsense” are some of the comments netizens wrote to oppose this act.
However, a number of female celebrities took to their Instagram pages on Father’s Day to wish themselves Happy Father’s Day. Tonto Dikeh often refers to herself as “Mama de Papa”. Ini Edo, Olaide Oyedeji, and Sophia also posted cute photos and videos of their children while wishing themselves happy Father’s Day.
