Afrobeat sensation Davido has revealed a surprising truth about his personal life and how it deeply affects his music career.

In a candid interview on the popular radio show “The Breakfast Club,” Davido opened up about the powerful influence his wife, Chioma Adeleke, has had on his journey to stardom. According to the hitmaker, anytime he has a disagreement with Chioma, things start falling apart in his business.

“Every time I fight with her, something bad happens to my business,” he shared. “She’ll say, ‘So you want to fight me? Your album is coming, abi? Okay now.’ She just has that kind of grace over me.”

Davido also touched on Chioma’s strong bond with his children from other women, particularly his daughter, Hailey, noting that they’ve built a loving relationship despite his initial concerns.

He further recounted their long-standing love story, saying, “We’ve been together for 11 years. I was 18, she was 17. We met in school and grew up together, from being sweethearts to life partners.”
