Eva Mendes was born in Miami, Florida, United States, on March 5, 1974, although her family comes from Cuba, and she is very proud of her origins, as evidenced by her perfect command of Spanish. She was educated in Los Angeles, and already in high school she became fond of acting. But she would later take classes in a more professional way with Ivana Chubbuck.
