The famous politician was born on November 16, 1980 as Eric Michael Swalwell in Sac City, Iowa, United States of America. He is the first child of four sons of parents Eric Nelson Swalwell and Vicky Joe Swalwell. Her father was a police chief in Algona and her parents are both Republicans. His family left Iowa and settled in Dublin, California. When he was a child, he had suffered from Bell’s palsy.

For his education, he attended Wells Middle School and then Dublin High School, where he graduated in 1999. Subsequently, he joined Campbell University in North Carolina on a football scholarship in 1999 in 2001.
