Eric Millegan is an American actor known for his achievements in various backgrounds. He is an accomplished film and television actor, as well as a columnist, voice actor, and stage actor. His other acting credits include 100 Center Street , Control Your Enthusiasm , and Bones, among others.
Eric Millegan entered musical theater at age 7
Eric Millegan was born to father Lloyd Millegan and mother Karen Millegan on August 25, 1974. Originally born in Hackettstown, New Jersey, the 45-year-old actor was raised in Springfield, Oregon. He has five siblings, three brothers and two sisters, namely: Patrick Millegan, Jeffrey Millegan, Brantly Millegan, Colleen Millegan, and Lisa Millegan.
Eric attended Springfield High School. A valedictorian of his class, Millegan spent three summers studying acting at the Interlochen Arts Camp at the Interlochen Center for the Arts after graduation. He then went on to study musical theater at the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Eric fell in love with theater performances at a very young age. He began acting at age 7 in the Eugene (Oregon) Opera production. He spent most of his college time performing on stage. Some of his performances include Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Camelot, West Side Story, A Christmas Carol, and many others.
Eric is known for his career in musical theater
Eric’s career took off when he moved to New York City. He has appeared in various Off-Broadway productions such as Schoolhouse Rock Live!, The Imaginary Invalid , Girls in Brazos , The Happiest Guy and Rio Grande at the Paper Mill Playhouse. He reached the height of popularity when he was cast opposite Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons in Harold and Maude: The Musical at the Paper Mill Playhouse in 2004.
He appeared in many other productions before being cast in the Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar . He was also chosen to sing the solo ‘Aquarius’ from the Encore production. Hair at City Center in 2001.
The same year, Eric made his screen debut as Michael. Truskie in the legal drama, 100 Center Street . After that, he was cast as Eddie Dutton in the first season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent . He also made a guest appearance on Control Your Excitement , which starred Larry David, Mel Brooks and David Schwimmer. As of now, Millegan has a recurring role as Dr. Zack Addy on the American crime drama. Bones .
