Emma Roberts
In recent times Emma Roberts has started to scream, and not only for making Scream 4 , but because joy overwhelms her. Her career is taking off as she lives up to the acting genes of her aunt Julia Roberts.
Emma Rose Roberts, better known as Emma Roberts, was born in Rhinebeck, New York, USA, on February 10, 1991. And clearly, she belongs to a clan that likes to act, it is not surprising that she has fallen in love for the profession that allows you to get into other people’s shoes. The celebrity of the family is certainly her Oscar-winning aunt Julia Roberts, but her father Eric Roberts is also an actor, and her relatives include actress Lisa Roberts Gillan (aunt), casting director Eliza Roberts (her stepmother) and Morgan and Keaton Simons (step-brothers).
As a child, Emma was already under the spotlight. And it is that accompanying the family to the set, she awakened her acting desires with great force. She was 10 years old when she debuted with Blow (2001), a drug trafficking film with two Spaniards in her ranks, Penélope Cruz and Jordi Mollà ; she was the daughter of Johnny Depp himself . Unfabulous , Nickleodeon television series. She also appeared that year with her aunt Julia in Couple of the Year , but she was not even credited. That could have remained an anecdote to tell when you are older to friends and acquaintances. But it went further.
Emma continued to add roles in family titles, such as Grand Champion (2002), until landing a regular role in the television series An Ordinary Girl (2004). To this youthful role –which also served him to prove his musical virtues on a record, and he is passionate about singing– he added others on the big screen such as Aquamarine (2006) and, above all, that of a teenage detective in Nancy Drew : Mystery in the Hollywood Hills (2007). She noticed an air of family in her natural youngster, especially in the disarming smile of her big mouth, which she sent back to Julia, although her facial features seemed finer.
A film that calls itself Megapetarda (2008) does not say much in its favor, but there was Emma, give it a go, adding titles more or less familiar or for adolescents, something that she continued to do with the canine film Hotel for Dogs (2009), wow!. In 2010 she began the countdown to fame? Perhaps, although 4.3.2.1 was not very stimulating, but the main claim of the film was without a doubt her, who already at 19 years old had displayed all her beauty. The studios have taken note as 2010 is a year of odyssey for Emma, whose career has taken off to the point that job offers are piling up and it’s hard to predict where she’ll go.
When it comes to talking about Emma’s sentimental life, there is an indisputable fact: the girl is young, she has not had serious relationships. So to say that she dated Alex Pettyfer , or that she is now seen with a certain Dathan Kuppin, a college student, is certainly not saying much.
As an aunt like Julia Roberts there is only one, both coincided in the ensemble film Historias de San Valentín (2010), yes, their love stories did not intersect. Twelve , also from 2010, is arguably the older film of hers; set in the world of drugs, a Joel Schumacher in low hours moved the camera.
After the scares of Scream 4 (2011), Homework is highly anticipated , a title that unites him with another child actor who has had to grow up, the wonderful Freddie Highmore . He also stars in It’s Kind of a Funny Story , a comedy with funnyman Zach Galifianakis ; and in What’s Wrong with Virginia , where he has the good company of Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris .
