Emily Beecham is an actress from England. She is famous for the title role in the 2017 film Daphne, Into The Badlands and Pulse.

Additionally, she is known for her roles in the comedy film Hail, Caesar! and for the AMC television series Into the Badlands.

ACTING CAREER EMILY BEECHAM

She began accepting professional acting opportunities, during her senior year at LAMDA. Her first appearance was in the 2006 TV thriller, Bon Voyage, and the British supernatural TV series Afterlife. In the coming month, she had the premiere of her first feature, Bon Voyage. The film received praise after its October debut on ITV. The film won the Nymphe d’Or award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival in June 2007.

In mid-2007, got the lead role in her independent film The Calling. For her performances in the film, she won the Best Actress award at the London Independent Film Festival. Additionally, she won the Edinburgh International Film Festival Trailblazer Award. She had her first professional stage performance in Ian McHugh’s debut play How to Curse at the Bush Theater in Shepherd’s Bush, London the same year. Josie Rourke, the theater’s artistic director, was the director of the play. She received the Best Actress award at the London Independent Film Festival 2011.

She has appeared in several television series, including Agatha Christie’s Marple, Tess of The D’Urbervilles and The Street. Nylon magazine listed her as one of 55 “Faces of the Future”, in their “Young Hollywood” issue, with the photograph captioned “Young Hollywood London”. In 2013, she starred as Caro Allingham in the BBC television series, The Village.

Currently, she stars as The Widow in the AMC martial arts action drama series Into the Badlands . She had a supporting role in the 2016 Coen Brothers comedy film Hail, Caesar!. She played the lead role in the 2017 British drama film, Daphne. Her performances in the film earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the British Independent Film Awards.

Little Joe is a film about doubting reality and identity: a mother is afraid of losing her son but loses herself instead.

A genetically engineered plant appears to produce curious changes in people or animals that come into contact with it. Those affected seem alien as if their personalities have been altered – especially to their loved ones. Or is it just a figment of the imagination? The interplay between various truths is examined, and ultimately the very concept of individual identity is questioned.

The film stars Emily Beecham, Ben Whishaw, Kerry Fox, Kit Connor, Jessie-Mae Alonzo, David Wilmont and Phénix Brossard.
