Eleanor Nancy Gow or more commonly Elle Macpherson has made herself recognized as “The Body” due to her record 5 cover appearances for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the 1980s. Elle is a 6ft tall model, actress and businesswoman from Australia. She is over 50 years of age alt (March 29, 1964) and Executive Producer on NBC’s Fashion Star.

Elle Macpherson is proud to call herself “The Body” at 50 as she is very fit and healthy compared to others her age. Her fitness secrets were revealed by her personal trainer, James Duigan .

Your body is the result of the combined effects of healthy exercise, healthy eating, and eliminating foods that can be harmful to your health. James Duigan’s motto when it comes to movement is

“Work smarter, not harder”

Having passed 50, she is not involved in the gym and does not care much about calories. She just does what she can and when she can to make her workout easier. Also, Macpherson is a very busy woman, being a mother of two boys and a businesswoman. So, Duigan has created an 8 minute workout for you. She does it 2 times a day – morning and evening. This way you can see the results in just 2 weeks.

Elle follows the workout routine below for a one-hour session for 3-4 weeks when she’s at home.

  1. Hip Extension – 10 reps It’s a good warm-up exercise.
  2. Single Leg Hip Extension – 10 reps per leg. Great movement in the abdomen.
  3. You’ – 15 reps. Improves posture and strength in the lower back.
  4. Twist lunge – 15 reps on each leg. It is good for the stomach and for burning fat.
  5. The push-up – 10 repetitions. Strengthens arms, chest and midsection.
