Elçin Sangu (Arabic: إلتشين سانجو ) born August 13, 1985 (age: 37) is a Turkish actress and model , best known by her lead role Defne (Dima/ديما) in Star TV’s romantic comedy series, Kiralık Aşk (Arabic: حب للإيجار ) in 2017. Thanks to this role, she won many awards in Turkey, including three Golden Butterfly Awards.
Sangu also participated in the television series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki (على مر الزمان 2011), Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer (2012-2013), Bir Aşk Hikâyesi (حكاية حب 2013-2014), Kurt Seyit Ve şura (سعيد وش and Sevdam Alabora (انقلاب حبيبي 2015). Thanks also to her participation in television commercials and campaigns, she became one of the highest paid celebrities in Turkey .

Elçin Sangu was born on August 13, 1985, is an only child from an ethnic Circassian family from Izmir, on the west coast of Turkey, graduated from the opera department of Mersin University, she took classes in theater at the Sahne Tozu theater In 2011, she played the role of Jale in Kanal D, in the drama series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki where she sang and also played the piano
Between 2012-2013, she performed the lead role of Nehir in Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer. From 2013 to 2014, she played Eda in Bir Aşk Hikâyesi, an adaptation of the South Korean television series I’m Sorry, I Love You.
In 2014, she played Güzide in the historical drama series Kurt Seyit ve Şura filmed in Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. After another leading role in 2015 in TV series Sevdam Alabora, she also started working in Kiralık Aşk Aşk in the same year.
In 2016, she became the presenter of Sunsilk and Boyner skincare products.
