El General has been married since 2015 (the only information released).
Career and career path
The youngest of four siblings, El General lives in Sfax with his parents. He became active from 2007, Ben Amor mainly writes rap songs of a political nature where the theme of corruption was the main theme.
Since the old regime was a dictator, and because of censorship under the regime of President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, Ben Amor could not give concerts, or even release albums or see them broadcast on Tunisian radios… He has therefore used social networks just like YouTube.
Rais Lebled, released November 7, 2010 is El General’s best-known song. Indeed, it seeks to highlight the poor living conditions of Tunisian youth while accusing the deposed president while emphasizing corruption and above all not acting against the problems other than with methods worthy of a state. policeman. His song is described by Time magazine as the “anthem of the revolution and the protesters of Tahrir Square in Cairo”.
Just after two days of the broadcast of the song “Tounes Bledna” in December 22, 2010, El General was arrested by the Police.
