Synopsis

ElFoundou season 1 & 2 is a mainstream Ramadan series broadcast on a mainstream channel, which rises to the top of the ordinary ratings charts, punctuated with events and dramas. it is a tragedy about an uncommitted murder and the revenge that will follow.

Yahia, studious, a young man who recently had his baccalaureate diploma, is about to join the benches of the faculty, during a drunken evening with friends, his life changes forever: the corpse of his girlfriend is found in the trunk of his car. He was never able to prove his innocence and he was immediately imprisoned in prison. After 18 years in prison, he is released, determined to find the real criminal, the one who ruined his life and that of his family.

“Yahia”, Nidhal Saâdi, has suffered since its release from the refusal and wrath of society. He was rejected by his family, his father, his sister and her fiancé, his old friends from high school, those around him. Everyone sees him as a criminal who killed a young girl without mercy. No one believes he is innocent.

he only finds comfort in his former childhood friend, played by “Nourdo”, the same one who exposed him for murder when they were younger. Without forgetting his great godfather in prison, the one who took him under his wing, masterfully interpreted by Kamel Touati.

El Foundou, from the past to the present moment, the transition is mastered from the time of the 90s to the present day. Once the crime is done, the future events are announced: it will be a tragedy around an uncommitted murder and the attempts to prove his innocence. Secrets are reborn, broken bonds are raked, and an innocent guilty thirsty for justice is in search of a return: a return that lengthens indefinitely over the scenes of stretched pathos.
