Ekene Umenwa is a famous Nigerian actress, model, comedian, MC, and scriptwriter famous for Mama Ima Comedy on YouTube who was born on 27 August 1991 and raised by both parents in Nigeria. Umenwa holds Nigerian nationality and citizenship. She is a Christian of African ethnicity and black race.  Her educational journey began in her hometown, where she completed her primary education, laying the foundation for her future endeavors. Later, she pursued higher education in Ebonyi State, a significant move that marked a new chapter in her life. In Ebonyi, she dedicated herself to her studies, ultimately earning a degree in Biochemistry, a testament to her dedication and intellectual pursuits.

Ekene Umenwa is the founder of Ekyevents Confectionary where she works as an event planner and baker. Over time she has been able to build a strong online presence by entertaining her fans through her comedy skit. Ekene was born and raised by both parents in Nigeria.
