Ehab Tawfik (Arabic: ايهاب توفيق) is an Egyptian singer who was born on January 7, 1966.
His love for music began at the age of nine.
He learned to play the lute as a child.
His first single, Dany, was released in 1989 and his first album, Ekminny, in 1990. In 1995 he graduated with a thesis on Egyptian song in the second half of the twentieth century.
Ehab worked on his doctorate in Arabic music and singing, and completed it in April 2002. This doctorate was titled Arabic singing methods in Egypt during the second half of the last century. He is one of the best singers in the Arab world and is especially revered in his hometown.
His greatest exposure as an artist came on February 26, 2001, when he performed in front of 50,000 people at a benefit concert to raise funds for Iraqis maimed during the Gulf War in Baghdad. .
Ehab worked with Alam El Phan label in 2007.
He has two children, Ahmed and Mahmoud from his wife Nada.

• In 2007, Ehab Tawfik was criticized for his song “(لا رسول الله) صلى الله عليه وسلم” Except the Prophet Allah. The song was released in response to Danish cartoons that portrayed the Prophet negatively. His song Taala Nesameh featured in the Egyptian film Kashf Hesab (2007), starring Nour and Khaled Abol Naga. It was featured on Danish band Outlandish’s track “Keep the Record on Play”.
• His songs which have enjoyed great success are “Habibi” (“My darling”), “Sahrany” (“She enchanted me”), “Tetraga Feya” (“To engorge me”), “Hobbak Aliminni” (“Your love taught me”), and Allah Alek Ya Seede have all been very popular in the Arab world.
