Arin Joseph Hanson is better known by his Internet pseudonym Egoraptor and is an animator, voice actor, cartoonist, rapper, and Internet sensation known for his web series. He was born on January 6, 1987 to father Lloyd Hanson, who is a musician and founder of the website OldFartsWithGuitars.com and his mother Maurette Hanson, who runs the Healing House Therapy Center.

Egoraptor has made his career in the fields of gaming, animation, voice acting, and rap. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and raised there. For education, he enrolled in Wellington High School. However, he did not complete his studies and dropped out in the third year of high school. He began to pursue a career as a writer, but failed in the attempt. To pursue a career in voice acting, he moved to South Florida. Later, he got his start in the animated web series called The Awesome Series.

The Awesome Series includes parodies of various franchises of the video game fraternity. He has parodied various animations such as Metal Gear, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and Ninja Gaiden. The series aired on Newgrounds. Hanson has also been involved in sketch comedy. He has also collaborated with several other animation artists such as Rodrigo Huerta, Chris O’Neil, and Ross O’Donovan for various animation projects. He is also a co-star in the web series Game Grumps which is very popular on YouTube. It is a Let’s Play web series. Hansen also parodied and rapped in the video game parody band called Starbomb. He has also done the same with his video game review series called Sequelitis.
