The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has finally spoken in the language their audience understand; in a public post on Facebook, the EFCC lament in pidgin, the surge in financial crimes.

“This na for the shady leaders wey dey carry our money go Overseas. This na for the Yahoo Yahoo boys wey dey spoil our Country name Overseas.

For the lifestyle wey you dey live, make you know say there is an eye watching you. “NA STUBBORN FLY DEY FOLLOW CORPSE ENTER GRAVE” WHO GET EAR MAKE E HEAR AM.

#EFCC is watching, will get you anywhere, anytime. Shun! Financial Crimes in all its forms and Corruption. The Eagle leaves you with one advice “IF CAN’T DO THE TIME, DON’T DO THE CRIME”

However, in reacting to the post, a netizen identified as Yusuf Muhammed Kabir commented said: “when the leaders of a country fail to carry out their constitutional responsibilities, the citizens also will find any means possible to earn their living. EFCC we respect u as an Organization that fights corrupt individuals but how do u want us to be confident in u when even ur own officials or staff are also corrupt.”

“See let’s tell ourselves the truth and stop finding faults where there is none, Everything abt Nigeria is corrupt starting from the head to the tail, we can only get it right when each and every one of us has decided to change for the better. Heaven helps those who help themselves.”

Recall that the commission for the past few weeks have been trailing fraudsters and also threaten hoteliers in the process. They threaten hoteliers risk of being prosecuted and jailed if they allow Yahoo Boys to check into their facilities.
