He appeared briefly in “American Gangster” as a detective, and racked up various titles. The extra and character actor Eddie Rouse died on December 7, 2014, at the age of 60, at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to his manager, who has not disclosed the cause of death.

After graduating from high school in Philadelphia, Eddie Rouse began his career with the city’s Bushfire Theater company. He subsequently enrolled in the North Carolina School of the Arts. He debuted in the audiovisual field with the telefilm George Washington , David Gordon Green ‘s debut , where he played the uncle of one of the starring disadvantaged children. The director would once again give him a role, very small, in Superfumados .

Later, he took part in very secondary roles in titles such as El número 23 , American Gángster or Pandórum . Shortly before he died, he had finished shooting Westworld , a futuristic series. He is survived by his wife and his son.
