Ed Harding is a prominent American journalist. He has made recognition of him as the lead anchor for the ABC affiliate television station, WCVB-TV ( Channel 5 ) in Boston. He co-hosts the 4, 6 and 11 pm editions of NewsCenter 5 .

Early age and education

Ed Harding was born in Newton, Massachusetts in 1953. Harding is of White American ethnicity and is a proud American citizen.

Harding spentmost of his childhood days in Newton, Massachusetts and studied from there. In his childhood days, Harding dreamed of being a catcher for the Red Sox. He later mentioned:

Ed Harding, 64, has been married to Andrea Halpern Harding for more than 25 years. The couple have two children together. His son, Adam Harding, completed her graduation from Emerson College in 2008. Following in Ed Harding’s footsteps, his son, Adam, went on to work as a television news reporter in Boston, now working at WGCL- TV.

ED Harding currently lives happily in Wellesley, Massachusetts, along with his wife and two children.
