Edith Ann or ED Hill is known professionally as ED, Donahey is an American news anchor and journalist for CNN. Widely known for her appearance on the news as an anchor and radio host, she was previously seen working for Fox News Channel.
Early age and education
ED Hill was born on July 27, 1962 in Dripping Spring Texas. ED Hill graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas, located in Austin, as he was also a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.

Hill’s career began in 1986 when he was a VJ for VH1 until August 1987. He later turned to journalism. She spent her time at WPXI-TV, WABC-TV and WHDH-TV, where she was cast as a co-anchor for the station’s morning newscast, also its newly launched midday broadcast.
In 1998, he joined the Fox Channel. She worked as an anchor on Fox and Friends from 1998 to 2006. She later switched to the 2:00 p.m.
Hill also appeared as a co-host on Bill O’Reilly’s The Radio Factor for about five years, having also presented for the Bill O’Reilly Factor.
On June 6, 2008, on an episode of America’s Pulse, he asked if a fistfight between presidential candidates Barack Obama , also his wife Michelle, after the final 2008 Democratic presidential primary was a terrorist fistfight.
In November 2008, after the general election, it was announced that Hill’s contract with Fox will now be renewed. Hill would continue with the network until his contract expired.
On October 14, 2008, she appeared as a guest co-host of ABC’s daytime shows The View, later returning to co-host again on September 23 and 25, 2009, the time Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on maternity leave.

She was married to Marc Philip, who was a vice president at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Company in New York.
The couple had two children, a daughter named Laurel, born in 1992, and a son named Matthew, born in 1994. After a couple of years together, the couple divorced in 1995.
After their divorce, Hill married a second time to J. David. They have a son together named J. David Jr, born in 1997. However, she divorced again with him later.
In February 2002, Hill revealed her engagement to her company boyfriend of two years Joe Hill. The couple married on June 1, 2002.
Joe Hill has three sons from his previous marriage named Jordan, Collin, and Wyatt. They have a daughter together, Sumner Holcomb Hill, born in 2003, also a son Joseph Wolf Hill, born in 2004.
In February 2010, Hill underwent a preventative double mastectomy.
