Dwayne Johnson was a star of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) after his father Rocky Johnson and grandfather Peter Maivia participated in it earlier. Although his future seemed to be linked to the world of American football, an injury forced him to retire.
But The Rock decided to continue attached to the sport and take advantage of his spectacular physique to start in the WWF with the name of Rocky Maivia, joining the names of his father and grandfather as a tribute.
His first interventions in the world of series were with small roles in ‘Star Trek: Voyager and That Wonderful 70, but later the cinema would come into his life.
