Drew Van Acker is an American actor and model. He is best recognized for his role as Jason DiLaurentis on the ABC Family teen drama Pretty Little Liars . He also starred in numerous television series such as Castle, Greek , Tower Prep and Deviant Maids .
Early life and education of Drew Van Acker
Drew Van Acker was born on April 2, 1986 in New York, United States. Later, Drew along with his parents and two of his brothers moved to many places, including Omaha. They eventually settled in Medford, New Jersey, where he spent most of his precious childhood days.
Drew was determined to become an astronaut as a child. Van Acker was very interested in martial arts and played soccer as a child, so he possessed the athletic body of him
Acker sporadically played basketball, lacrosse, and wrestled a lot. Since childhood, Drew was imaginative and creative and loved to watch movies. Drew developed a fondness for the big screen and wanted to get into acting.
Drew attended Shawnee High School, where he began acting in his high school drama classes. Drew’s beloved high school production was The Lion King, where she played Simba.
Since Drew was so good at football, he received a scholarship to Towson University in Maryland, where he acquired copious drama classes because he had decided to focus entirely on acting.
Meanwhile, Acker was studying business. In due course of his time, he decided to pursue his dream of acting and eventually moved to New York City and then Los Angeles for the same purpose.

Drew Van Acker struggled a lot to make it in modeling. Acker’s athletic body helped a lot in the process. Famed photographer Bruce Weber was looking for a model to fit “Abercrombie and Fitch” and found Drew.
Acker then appeared in many Abercrombie catalogs and campaigns, counting A and F in ‘Return to Paradise’ magazine. Van Acker proudly modeled for ‘International Jock’, ‘American Eagle’ and ‘Fantasticmag’.
Drew’s shirtlessphotos showing off his abs garnered a lot of attention from both girls and boys and thus rumors of him being gay popped up on the runway. After finishing up with B-1 modeling in New York, he went to Los Angeles to establish himself as an actor.
Drew later signed a contract with Sheppard Smith Management. And then he started working with the William Morris Endeavor Agency. However, Acker’s big break came while he was posing for the cover of Genre magazine.
There are also rumors that Acker is dating. Troian Bellisario , but neither he nor Troian have confirmed the rumor.
